plantica Presents Debut Muslim Fashion Collection in Jakarta

Focusing on the increasing diversification and sophistication of Muslim fashion in recent years, plantica designed a clothing line for Muslim women, unveiling its debut collection at a fashion show in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Drawing inspiration from the botanical patterns of traditional Indonesian “Batik” fabric and the characteristic geometric patterns of Islamic art, plantica expressed the theme of “The Beautiful Constraints and Diversity of Muslim Culture” through its signature floral textile designs.

While adhering to the rules of attire cultivated throughout the history of the Islamic world, this collection also fused elements of free-spirited resort style and street culture. The result was a proposal for an unprecedented form of Muslim fashion, featuring floral textiles and garment patterns that blend a diverse range of essences from both East and West, past and present.
