plantica Creates Sustainable "Loss Flower" Visuals for Seibu & Sogo's "Hyakkasai" Campaign (2020)

For the Spring 2020 “Hyakkasai” (Hundred Flower Festival), a major campaign by the department store chain Seibu & Sogo, plantica was responsible for creative cooperation on the key visual, window displays, and in-store decorations.

Sustainable Design with “Loss Flowers”:
As part of an initiative related to the SDGs, the 2020 “Hyakkasai” campaign featured decorations and visuals created by upcycling “loss flowers” (flowers that would otherwise be discarded).

plantica developed an original, kaleidoscope-themed floral visual for the campaign. The process involved pressing individual petals from these loss flowers, digitally scanning them, and then projecting the images into a room of mirrors. The resulting fantastical “flower kaleidoscope” world was photographed to create the final key visual.

plantica 为西武・崇光百货「百花彩」春季活动打造可持续视觉艺术

2020 年春季,plantica 负责了日本西武・崇光 (Seibu & Sogo) 百货公司举办的年度花卉盛典「百花彩」的主视觉形象创作,以及橱窗和店内陈列的创意设计协力工作。

可持续的设计理念:
作为支持联合国可持续发展目标 (SDGs) 的一环,2020 年的「百花彩」活动特别采用了环保理念,将原本将被废弃的“零废弃花材 (Loss Flower)”进行“升级再造 (Upcycling)”。

plantica 为本次活动独家创作了万花筒风格的原创花卉视觉。其制作过程为:首先将“零废弃花材”的花瓣一一压制成押花并进行高精度数字扫描,随后将这些花瓣图像投影到一个四壁皆为镜面的房间内,拍摄下由此产生的、如同万花筒般绚烂华丽的花卉世界,最终完成了「百花彩」的主视觉形象。
