Spatial Design for INTERSECT BY LEXUS – TOKYO's Gallery&Cafe
For the “Gyokuro Full Course,” the first limited-time menu of 2019 offered at INTERSECT BY LEXUS – TOKYO (starting February 1, 2019), plantica was responsible for the complete spatial design of the venue’s gallery and cafe.
Spatial Design Concept:
Drawing inspiration from the clear green hue of Gyokuro tea and the natural environments of the tea fields where it is cultivated, plantica visualized the menu’s concept through a multi-faceted design approach.
Key elements included the creation of a lush green wall in the gallery, green floral arrangements for the counter, diorama-style arrangements installed within tables, and the production of visual content for digital signage.
About the “Gyokuro Full Course” Menu:
This full course was inspired by Hatsugama, the first tea ceremony of the New Year. It featured premium Gyokuro from the Yame and Uji regions, specially selected by a “10th Dan Tea Master,” a prestigious title held by only 13 people in Japan. The menu was designed to allow guests to enjoy the rich flavor of Gyokuro in three different forms: as a drink, in a savory dish, and as a sweet.
Venue: INTERSECT BY LEXUS – TOKYO (4-21-26 Minami-Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo)
Period: Limited time from February 1, 2019
